Working on Hinkley Point C? Tell us your crew size, dates and shift pattern and we will source long-stay housing around Bridgwater and the wider Somerset catchment.

Hinkley Point C is EDF's two-reactor nuclear station on the Somerset coast near Stogursey, about nine miles from Bridgwater. EDF put the cost at GBP 31 to 34 billion in 2015 prices in January 2024 and revised it to GBP 35 billion in February 2026, when it also confirmed Unit 1 powering up in 2030. Capacity is 3.2 gigawatts across the two units.
EDF reported around 12,000 workers on site in February 2025 and the BBC reported an actual peak of about 14,000 in February 2026, below the earlier 15,000 forecast. Accommodation has been a live issue throughout: EDF operates roughly 2,500 campus beds across Bridgwater, the on-site campus and Brean, funded thousands of extra bedspaces in private stock, and proposed a fourth 1,000-bed campus in July 2025 to ease pressure on Bridgwater housing before scrapping it in February 2026. Trade packages still arrive in waves, so long-stay supply around Bridgwater, Cannington, Nether Stowey, Williton and Taunton stays tight.
We source long-stay accommodation for teams with confirmed work at Hinkley Point C, matched to your gate, shift pattern and package dates.
